Frank Horvath, who passed away on July 9th, 2019 at the age of 72, was a beloved member of the SHM Canada team. A brilliant and versatile electrical engineer with an exceptional ability to develop creative and innovative solutions, Frank contributed immensely to the development of our company. Frank approached his work, regardless of the size or scope of the task, with dedication, commitment, and a creative spirit.
He was also an immensely warm and kind man, with a keen sense of humour and wide-ranging interests. An excellent musician (and an amateur in the finest sense), he participated in local instrumental and choral groups as a string player and singer.
Frank was a dear friend to us. We join his family, particularly wife Gabi and daughter Eszter, in mourning his loss.
